What is In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)?
In-vitro fertilisation is commonly referred to as IVF or “test tube baby”.
It is a process of fertilisation occurred outside the body which involves manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. An embryo will be formed if the fertilisation is successful. During IVF , mature eggs are collected (retrieved) from ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. Then the fertilized egg (embryo) or eggs (embryos) are transferred to a uterus. One full cycle of IVF takes about three weeks. Sometimes these steps are split into different parts and the process can take longer.

Generally, you are required to have around 2-3 visits to the centre and the whole treatment can be completed within 2-3 weeks.
