What should I do after dental implant surgery

Restrict your activities on the day of surgery and return to normal activities slowly. Place ice packs on the outside of the face where the implants were placed. Use ice for the first 48 hours to decrease swelling by applying it as continuously as possible

Is it OK to walk after dental implants

Because of localised trauma caused by the procedure, we do recommend that you rest for a few days to allow yourself time to recover properly and also allow the wound to heal. Even gentle exercise may cause some jarring and therefore some discomfort in the area of the procedure.
